Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:51 AM Tuesday to a report of crash with injuries at St Mary’s Parkway and Buffalo Grove Road Buffalo Grove, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a semi-trailer truck hit a power line. Sparks and fire were briefly seen at the pole.

Buffalo Grove Fire Department’s Tower 25 crew reported that a pole has been hit and all primary lines are involved in the crash. ComEd requested to the scene. A fire hydrant was also hit in the crash.
The crash was initially reported at St Mary’s Parkway and Buffalo Grove Road.
Wheeling firefighters also responded to a downed power line at Lake Cook Road and Weiland Road about one block away. The incidents are likely related. Wheeling firefighters also reported a primary line down on the ground.
Traffic signals were reported out at Lake Cook Road and Buffalo Grove Road.
